SMFI Scholarship Program screening set on Feb.14

  • Cauayan City, Isabela – SM Foundation Inc., the corporate social responsibility arm of SM Group of Companies has set the screening for the SM College Scholarship Program for the year 2018-2019 in SM City Cauayan on February 14, 2018.

     

    Walk-in applicants is still accepted for the scholarship program. Interested applicants should come to SM City Cauayan, Bldng. A Bridgeway at 10AM on the screening date. Students should be in complete uniform and should bring the following; (1) Photocopy of Grade 12 or 4th year report card (general weighted average of at least 88% by the second or third grading period, (2) Photocopy of BIR Income Tax Return or Certificate of Non-filing of Income Tax, and (3) Ballpen.

     

    An applicant should also belong to a family with P150, 000 or less household income per year to qualify in the program.

     

    The scholarship program is open to all public high school graduates and private high school graduates with DepEd voucher after completing Grade 10 from public schools in the following covered areas: Luzon - NCR, Albay, Batangas, Benguet, Bulacan, Cagayan,  Camarines Sur, Cavite, Isabela, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, Palawan, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Quezon, Rizal, Tarlac, and Zambales; Visayas - Capiz, Cebu, Iloilo, Leyte, and  Negros Occidental; and in Mindanao - Agusan del  Norte, Davao del Sur, Misamis Oriental, South Cotabato, and  Zamboanga del Sur.

     

    Aside from the scholar’s tuition, SM Foundation will also provide allowances. SM is also encouraging its scholars to earn extra income by offering them jobs during summer vacation.

     

    SM Foundation Scholars are not required to work for SM after graduation as payback for their education. (PR)
